Call for Submissions: Reve(a)ling: Feminist Art

Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff whose artistic vision is feminist in nature are
invited to submit artworks for a juried exhibition to be held in Gallery 123 in the George W. Johnson
Center at George Mason University from March 7-25, 2010. The exhibition is a part of Women’s History Month sponsored by Women and Gender Studies.

The exhibition will be juried by Maria Karametou, Assistant Professor of Art and Visual Technology at
George Mason University; Suzanne Scott, Associate Professor New Century College and Director of
Women and Gender Studies at George Mason University; and Dr. Vicki Kirsch, Assistant Professor,
Department of Social Work.

Artwork Specifications:
Works by current students in all media will be considered. Because of space limitations, wall works

animation should be fewer than 10 minutes. All pieces must be properly protected (mats, frames, and
bases).
